Booking Information

Let’s make this easy.

Planning an event has enough moving parts. I promise not to become one of them.

A few things to know:

  • Speaking fee + travel
  • No mystery math. No surprise invoices. No “we’ll circle back on that.”
  • And please no 16-email threads just to lock in a date.

Travel typically includes:

  • Round-trip airfare from Wilmington, North Carolina
  • Hotel accommodations
  • Ground transportation + meals

The fine print:

  • A 50% deposit secures your date.
  • The remaining balance is due one week before the event.
  • No decoder ring required.

A/V Setup

Please let me be heard. Literally.

Most event teams have this handled, but here’s what makes everybody’s life easier:

  • Wireless mic + PA for medium to large rooms. Small room? I’m originally from New York. I’ll be fine.
  • LCD projector + screen if slides are being used
  • Small table for materials + tea or water
  • No podium needed. I move when I speak. If you put one there, I’ll probably wander away from it anyway.

If your event has unusual tech needs, we’ll figure it out together. Worst case, I know how to talk without PowerPoint.

I’ve been speaking for decades. At this point, very little surprises me. I even bring a printed copy of my slides, because technology and I have known each other long enough to have trust issues. If something goes sideways, I adjust, laugh, and keep going. It usually makes a better story anyway.
